Position Summary

We are seeking dedicated and skilled Planning and Materials Control Specialist to join our Advanced Manufacturing Team.

Responsible for coordinating production schedules, managing material availability, and ensuring efficient manufacturing operations to meet customer demand. Develop, maintain, and adjust the master production schedule based on sales forecasts, production capacity, and material availability.

Key Responsibilities:

•        Collaborate with production, engineering, and procurement teams to ensure schedules align with business objectives and manufacturing capabilities.

•        Analyze production performance metrics and adjust schedules as necessary to meet output and delivery targets.

•        Identify and mitigate risks that could impact production schedules, including material shortages or equipment downtime.

•        Implement cost control strategies to ensure material costs stay within the allocated budget.

•        Monitor material cost trends and provide analysis and recommendations to minimize overall material expenditure.

•        Oversee the flow of materials from procurement through manufacturing, ensuring adequate supply to meet production plans.

•        Monitor inventory levels and initiate replenishment orders to prevent shortages or overstock situations.

•        Coordinate with suppliers, logistics, and warehouse personnel to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components.

•        Maintain accurate inventory records and participate in regular cycle counts and inventory audits.

•        Work closely with procurement to manage lead times, vendor performance, and cost efficiency.

•        Partner with quality assurance to ensure materials and components meet required standards before production use and to resolve material-related issues

•        Ensure that material planning and inventory control align with broader project timelines and goals.

•        Communicate regularly with sales and customer service teams to update on production timelines and order fulfillment status.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering, plus 3 years of experience in job offer or raw material planning analyst
